A small leafed form of pennywort, Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides is an great addition in foreground or midground settings of an aquarium. High lighting is an important factor in keeping Hydrocotlye sibthorpioides as a small spreading aquarium plant instead of growing to the surface. This mat comes with a metal mesh holder and the mat can be planted as is. However, if you wish to remove, you can use pruning shears to cut the metal mesh and then plant the entire mat or cut them into smaller squares to plant them a few inches apart.
